Montacute School welcomes the opportunity to supports its staff through encouraging union membership. Teachers are encouraged to join a union on commencement in their career and we welcome the advice, support and guidance of our union colleagues. 

Teaching Assistants and other non-teaching staff are also supported if they so choose to join a union and any time required of union representatives to attend training or update meetings during school time is wholeheartedly supported. 

Montacute School works closely with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Education Authority and the Dorset Education Authority to ensure that all aspects of our work are compliant and placing the wellbeing of our workforce at the heart of our work.
