Hi! My name is Lizzy and I am very excited to be the teacher of Shell Bay class again this year!

I have worked in Special Education for the last 10 years and absolutely love it! My favourite part of this job is seeing the students progress and achieve- it's so rewarding! I enjoy making lessons fun and practical, using outdoor spaces and different areas around the school to keep learning exciting and interesting. I also love messy play and art activities- I'll always be the first one on the floor drawing with chalks or splatting paint and shaving foam!

In my time outside of work, I like to go for walks with my dog Merlin and spend time with my family and friends. I am vegan and enjoy cooking with new foods and trying different recipes. 

I'm really looking forward to the year ahead with this lovely class and team!
