Janette - Class Teacher
Hi, my name is Janette Flexman. This is my fourth year teaching at Montacute School and I have enjoyed teaching in both lower and upper school. I feel privileged to be part of the Kimmeridge team this year and can’t wait to get to know you all. I am also piloting a new project this year working alongside Nature Friendly Schools. I will keep you updated about the project and how our students can be involved.
Before working at Montacute School I spent 10 years living and working in South London where I taught at a specialist college inspiring learners to become independent in all areas of their lives. Prior to this I worked as a Teaching Assistant and Assistant Psychologist at two residential schools in Dorset. All of these experiences have been invaluable and are reflected in my teaching today.
I love to spend time with my family and I have a lively one year old son who keeps me on my toes! I also have a pet tortoise named Gertrude, she loves eating dandelions. My favourite places to go are the beach and the forest.
I look forward to the year ahead teaching in Kimmeridge class and getting to know you all.
Best wishes,
Janette
