Autumn Term 2024

This term we have further developed our Happy Zone Cafe to make it more accessible for our younger learners. Our self service checkout makes exchanging coins for delicious snacks much easier for those who find waiting in a queue too challenging. So far it has been a great success and we are seeing many more of our lower school friends in the cafe each Friday morning. Thank you to everyone who supports our business enterprise each week.

Summer Term 2024

This term we attended the Careers Fair at Merley House. It was a great opportunity to meet a variety of representatives from a number of  providers and provisions, including Poole and Bournemouth College, Kingston Mauward, The National Trust and the Careers Hub. There were lots of interactive games to get us interested  and it sparked some great conversations on our return to school about our futures.

Spring Term 2024 - We are learning about World Religion Day. World Religion Day takes place each January, aiming to promote understanding and peace between all religions as well as mutual understanding and tolerance between peoples from different backgrounds.

Autumn Term 2023

Thank you to everyone who supported our joint Christmas Enterprise project with Poole Grammar School. Our laser cut decorations were a huge success. We raised a whopping £400! The sixth formers will be deciding on how best to use their amazing profit to develop their business enterprise and sixth form provision.

We marked Anti-Bullying week by paying compliments to others and writing these qualities on our Kindness Tree.
