My name is Amy Burkmar and I've had the pleasure of working at Montacute since 2010. Kimmeridge Class holds a special place in my heart, and I'm thrilled to guide our students on their educational journey.

In addition to teaching, I serve as an Assistant Headteacher at Montacute. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is supporting new teachers as they navigate their own paths in education. I also take the whole school lead on assessing our students' progress, ensuring each individual reaches their full potential.

I love Music, in and outside of school. I firmly believe in its power to enhance communication and social development, and I integrate it into our curriculum whenever possible.

When I'm not at school, you'll find me enjoying quality time with my friends and family, including my two children, Eva and Henry.

I'm excited for the opportunity to work with you and your child, and I look forward to a fantastic year filled with growth, learning, and fun!
