Hi I'm Suzie and I am the teacher for our fabulous group of sixth formers. I have worked at Montacute School since January 2022 having previously taught and worked as part of senior leadership teams in other SEND provisions in London and Dorset.  I originally trained as a primary school teacher and worked in a number of mainstream primary schools in south east London before moving into the SEND sector and specialising within the field of Autism for the last few years.   

I am excited to be working with young people in our sixth form, supporting them to prepare for life after school and to continue their love for learning beyond their time at Montacute. I enjoy working as part of a team and feel privileged to be part of such a hard working and committed team of teaches and support staff here. I am excited about developing as many work related learning opportunities as possible this year and want to see our young people thrive as learners, both within school and out in the community.  

Outside of work I am a keen ( though very amateur!) sea swimmer and can often be found jumping the waves all year round along the Dorset coast.
