Night and Day (Autumn 2024)

Within our current topic 'Night and Day' we are exploring all the effects of 'Night and Day' on the animals we see, on the sounds we hear, on the routines we perform and much more! We are also discovering the impact of 'Night and Day' on lighting states and the difference between light and dark. We have also been looking at the ways in which different animals adapt to their surroundings, depending on whether they're diurnal or nocturnal. We are exploring our topic through a range of creative activities and learning opportunities; spanning our curriculum! Our text for this topic is, 'Night Monkey, Day Monkey' by Julia Donaldson.
