Materials (Autumn 2025)

Within our current topic 'Materials', we will be exploring the properties of different materials and how we can use these to create sounds, artworks, structures and experiences. We will also be building our communication skills by expressing whether we like or do not like different materials; as well as expanding our understanding of adjectives through the use of chatter board descriptors. We will be learning about 'Materials' through a range of creative activities and sensory experiences; spanning our curriculum! One of the ways in which we will investigate our topic is through weekly sensory story sessions. Our text this term is 'Three Little Pigs' by James Halliwell-Phillips.
