Hi I’m Mikey and I’m a Teaching Assistant in Branksome class! Born in Glasgow, I moved to Bournemouth at a young age. After leaving school in 2019, with 3 a levels in Business, History and German, undecided about my future, I joined Montacute. 

After working bank staff for a year, I quickly realised SEN education is the career path for me. So applied for a full time role at Montacute! I have loved every minute of working at the school as it’s rewarding, a great atmosphere and it’s something different every day!

In the future I hope to further my experience in SEN education. Gaining further certificates and qualifications along the way.

My spare time is dominated by football, whether that be watching or playing! I’m a massive Celtic and Scotland fan, so if you ever want to feel sorry for me … there’s your reason.
