At Montacute School we believe in providing every opportunity for our students to express their views and opinions on all matters that affect them.
We fully embrace the principles of the United Nation Convention on the Right of the Child and we are actively involved in a number of areas which give all of our pupils a "Voice"
This year we are making friends with the children and young people at the Robert Cole Centre in Romania. These children and young people have a range of disabilities and are now attending school with the financial and organisational support of the Biggin Hill Romania Group.
With the help of our school community, families and friends, we were able to make 63 Christmas present boxes to provide our new friends with basic everyday items that would make their lives better. We also sent a special present for the Robert Cole Centre which included some of our art work, biscuits for their snack, and art materials. These should have arrived in Romania by now!
